What do I put on my business card once I've graduated?
Updated
Once you graduate from your program, you are entitled to add post-nominals (abbreviations) after your name on your business card or resume.
To find the correct post-nominal for your program:
- Open UniSQ Handbook versions.
- Select the year that you completed your program
- Select your program
- The program name will display as i.e. Bachelor of Human Services (BHMS) - BHS. The bracketed abbreviation (BHMS) is the University's code for the program, and the second abbreviation (BHS) is the correct post-nominal.
Other examples include:
- Bachelor of Applied Science: BAppSc
- Bachelor of Business: BBus
- Bachelor of Arts (Honours): BA (Hons)
If you have more than one degree, your post-nominals should be ordered by precedence from lowest to highest, with the issuing institution's name in italics after the post-nominal, for example: BEd UniSQ MBA UNE
All degrees from the same institution should be placed together, for example: BEng MEng PhD UniSQ
If you are unable to find your program in the handbook, please contact Student Support for further assistance.
