As a UniSQ student, how do I ask for scans of Library material?
Updated
All students can request partial copies/scans of print items we hold in our collection. The service is free, however there are limitations due to Australian copyright law. We cannot copy more than one chapter or 10% from a book for you, or more than one article from a single issue of a journal.
- Use Library Search to find items you would like to access
- Click on the item record
- Click on "Sign in" to login to MyLibrary (if not already signed in)
- Click on the "Scan" link (Note: it may be necessary to do an additional click on a location to see this link)
- Enter details of chapter/pages you require
- Read the copyright terms and, if you agree with the terms, click the checkbox to acknowledge
- Click "Send scan request"
- Your request will be placed and you will be able to view the details in MyLibrary.
Your documents will be sent to your UniSQ Email account as PDF files. There is usually a turnaround time of two to three business days on scan requests. You may have up to 5 scanning requests in progress at any time.
To find out more about this service, contact the Library.
