If you withdraw from a course after the census date but on or before the last day to withdraw from courses without a failing grade, a Withdrawn Without Academic Penalty (WAP) grade will be applied to this course. If you withdraw from courses after the census date any course fees already charged will remain.
Courses withdrawn without academic penalty do not appear on Official Academic Transcripts.
Students who commenced their studies from 1 January 2022 should note that courses withdrawn without academic penalty (WAP) have not been successfully completed and will be included in the 50% completion rate calculations.
If you feel that you have experienced unexpected extenuating circumstances after the teaching period census date that have impacted on your ability to complete your studies, you may apply to have the academic and/or financial penalty waived.
