If I apply for a UniSQ Student Loan, will I receive the money immediately?

The loans process takes time. Once you have completed the application process and had an appointment with an assessing officer, the application is then taken to a Loans Committee, which is made up of management staff from the UniSQ Wellbeing team, for a decision to be made.
Final approval for an Educational Support Loan (ESL) may take up to 5 business days to process. Final approval for an Emergency Expenses Loan (EEL) may take 24 hours to process.
In certain extenuating circumstances, we may be able to reduce the processing time of an emergency loan if your loan is approved.
