How do I connect to the UniSQ Wi-Fi (eduroam) on my iPhone or iPad (iOS) device?
Updated
The Wi-Fi connection used at UniSQ is called eduroam. Once set up, your mobile device will automatically connect when you come onto any UniSQ Campus.
Note: The below process is for when you're at a UniSQ campus. Steps match the process experienced on iOS version 16.1.2 and may vary with older devices.
- Go into Settings > Wi-Fi
- Click UniSQ-Visitor from the Wi-Fi listing
- Open the Safari Browser and navigate to http://wireless.usq.edu.au which will redirect you to the UniSQ Wi-Fi portal page
- Tap Follow this link to connect to 'eduroam' located at top of the page
- Enter your UniSQ Username followed by @usq.edu.au (e.g. U1234567@usq.edu.au)
- Next to 'Select your device', check that iPhone/iPad option is selected
- Tap Join Now
- You will be asked if you want to download a configuration profile, tap Allow
- You will receive a message advising Profile Downloaded, then tap Close
- Go into Settings
- Tap on 'Profile Downloaded' located near the top of your screen
- Tap Install
- Enter your Apple iPhone/iPad passcode
- Read the Warning message and tap Install, then tap the pop-up Install
- Enter your UniSQ Password
- Tap Next
- Tap Done
- In your iPhone settings, navigate back to Wi-Fi
- After a few moments your iPhone will now connect to eduroam (if it doesn't please tap on 'eduroam' to connect)
