How do I connect to the UniSQ Wi-Fi (eduroam) on my Android or Chrome OS device?
Updated

The Wi-Fi connection used at UniSQ is called eduroam.  Once set up, your mobile or Chrome OS device will automatically connect when you come onto any UniSQ Campus.

NOTE: This process MUST be performed while on campus or at a location that eduroam is present.

  1. Navigate to your phone Settings
  2. Tap connections
  3. Tap Wi-Fi
  4. Tap eduroam option from the available networks listed
  5. Enter/choose the following information for the required fields:
    • Tap EAP Method and choose PEAP
    • Tap Phase2 Auth and choose MSCHAPV2
    • Tap CA certificate and choose Do not validate
    • Enter at Identity your username@usq.edu.au (e.g. U1234567@usq.edu.au)
    • Enter at Password your UniSQ Password
  6. Tap Connect

A successful connection from completing the above steps will take you to your Wi-Fi settings, where you should now see that you are connected to eduroam.
