Updated
Work experience can be used as entry to UniSQ programs, however different programs may require different types of work experience. Check the entry requirements for individual programs.
Generally work experience can be shown using either of the options below:
- Submit your Curriculum Vitae (CV) or professional LinkedIn profile which includes:
- Organisation name
- Position title
- Start and end dates of employment for each position
- Type of employment (full-time, part-time or casual)
- Key duties, responsibilities and achievements.
- Names, position titles and contact details of referees (employers or supervisors) who will be able to verify the nature of your work for the period of 2 years.
Alternatively a statement from your employer will be accepted provided it includes the following elements:
- The letter is written on official company letterhead
- The letter is dated
- For the position held includes:
- Organisation name
- Position title
- Start and end dates of employment for each position
- Type of employment (full-time, part-time or casual)
- Key duties, responsibilities and achievements.
If you are self-employed you should provide the same information but include a statement from either your accountant, solicitor or tax agent to verify. This should be provided on their official letterhead.
Please note that the contacts provided may be contacted by UniSQ, and should be able to provide details regarding your role and responsibilities.
