What are credits or exemptions?

Credit or Exemptions are usually awarded for previously completed study or work experience toward a UniSQ program. This will reduce the total amount of units that you will need to complete in order to graduate from your program.
If you apply based on previously awarded study or work experience, you may be granted exemptions. For these subjects, you will be given a grade of 'EX'. Subjects with an EX grade will not contribute to your Grade Point Average (GPA).
If your previous study was with UniSQ you may receive Credit. The grades you have previously been awarded will be transferred to your new program and contribute toward your Grade Point Average (GPA).
