Find Your Research Topic helps you match your areas of interest with world-class research opportunities at UniSQ offered by research supervisors within UniSQ’s Schools, Research Institutes, Centres, Groups and Clusters.
If you wish to propose your own area of research interest, you can browse the UniSQ Expert Finder.
After identifying a potential supervisor, email them to introduce yourself and include a short outline (approximately 500 words) of your intended research project. After consultation with your proposed supervisor, students are required to fill out the Preliminary Research Thesis Topic Proposal. A template is available online. This document forms part of the formal admission application so you may wish to prepare a draft in consultation with your potential supervisor.
If after reviewing the Find Your Research Topic and the Expert Finder databases you have not been able to identify a potential supervisor, it is recommended that you email the Graduate Research School for assistance. The processing time of admission applications received without nomination of a potential supervisor may be delayed so it is in your best interest to make contact prior to submitting your formal application.
