What is Academic Progression?
Updated
Academic Progression is the University’s way of measuring a student’s academic performance towards completion of their program.
While it is important you understand your learning needs and if you are meeting course requirements, we monitor each student’s academic progression so that we can identify and support students who may not be meeting satisfactory academic progression.
Your Academic Progression is calculated when there is a change to your academic records. Your current Academic Progress Stage is available via the Academic Progress tile in your Student Centre. If you are passing your courses you should remain on Satisfactory Academic Standing.
If a student does not maintain Satisfactory Academic progress they will be assigned an appropriate Academic Progress Stage as per the Student Academic Progress Procedure, and may have certain tasks to complete related to that Stage.
