Why was I granted an assessment extension in past study periods based on the same reasons provided in my current assessment extension request but have now been denied?

From 1 January 2023, the Assessment Procedure has been updated to include more strict requirements to obtain long assessment extensions.  

 As an assessment extension is considered a significant concession, all requests for extensions longer than three (3) calendar days must be supported by documentary evidence and are assessed in accordance with the Assessment Procedure and  Assessment of Special Circumstances Procedure.
